"A bilingual illustrated story inspired by bees, nature, and the quiet wisdom we discover when we learn to listen."
In a quiet
mountain village…
A farmer named Melissa shares a special bond with her bees. When a mysterious "magic dust" promises ease and abundance, the balance of her garden begins to change.
As the bees respond in their own way, Melissa is forced to confront what has been quietly unfolding around her — and within herself.
Learning to Listen
The Whisper of the Hive is a story about remembering how to listen.
About trusting what we sense within ourselves. About beginning again — even in small ways.
May it leave you hopeful.
May it bring you closer to the living world.
The Art Behind the Story
Each image in the book began as an original hand-painted work of art.
The illustrations were created by French artist Anne-Lise Yandell, whose work captures the textures and quiet atmosphere of the natural world.
Together, the images create a visual rhythm that carries the reader through the story.

How This
Story Began
This story came to me in a dream. I once read that ideas are living things, seeking someone willing to bring them into the world.
This one would not let me ignore it.
What began as a simple bedtime story shared with my children slowly grew into an illustrated book.
